Together Omaha, Community Alliance, Sienna Francis House, are just a few of the countless organizations working to bring change to the city and to put an end to the problems faced by at-risk individuals every day.
At particular great risk are veterans who often find more challenges then most, dealing with the difficulties of transitioning back into civilian life among other life changing events. We worked again with Together Omaha along with Community Alliance to create a video in association with the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans to target housing landlords and others by sharing stories of people who worked to overcome homelessness, and become, in their words, “someone that could be seen as a person again.”
With another war over, the issues facing the country and returning veterans is a growing reality we all have to face, hopefully sooner than later.
