A year ago we worked with renowned poet and artist Frank S. O’Neal to create a powerful video, carrying the message of Frank’s latest poem, telling a story that we all feel worryingly close to. With him we made a short film that has left everyone who’s viewed it stunned and shocked but with great enthusiasm and approval.

Stunning and shocking enough to catch the attention of the Nebraska Art Council and now we are granted a Exhibition space to start off the year of 2017 on an artistic note. Creating a new art exhibit is a first for a project like this with many of it’s own challenges, bringing together so many different ideas and people. It will be an interesting moment showcasing our work to different audience, and see what conversations it will spark, and hopefully long after the showing is over.

So many thanks goes out to the members of the Art Council for this opportunity and building up a relationship for us and the local community and beyond. The Nebraska Arts Council will host the opening reception on Friday, January 6, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Fred Simon Gallery, NO COST for all to attend.

The regular public exhibition will be on display through February 17.
