For the last  few years Surreal Media has had the job of creating a new, iconic piece of graphicART for the Native Omahan Club for the Biennial (every 2 years) Native Omahans Days.

This year celebrates the 21st biennial (42years) event since it’s start back in 1975.Our creative director, Jason R. Fischer wanted to take many past elements and fused them with new, modern ones. Music, Hip Hop, Graffiti, Modern Art, Dance, The Black Power movement, Woman’s Rights, Soul, Neo-Soul, the Afro, and the city of Omaha… The images swirl around and create a living breathing scene of a vibrant community that was, is and will be of North Omaha. It’s a celebration of African American culture with Family, Food, Music, Parades, Parties, Praise & Worship and so much more.

From feedback and opinions so far, this looks to be our most successful and even loved, graphicART created thus far. We love that people are getting so into it, and are excited to see it get people into celebrating the Native Omahan Days Events coming up this August!
